Project Chispa

Day 1 & 2 Preproduction - With my group of students, we were able to make a storyboard of a short film. We decided together what would look good as a sequence. Educating the students over characters, plot and story structure. "Team Spooky" created our adorable characters out of sock puppets.

Day 3 & 4 Production - My team and I started filming the first half of our short film. I directed the shots and worked the green screen.  We worked together as a team to decide the best sounds and clips.

Day 5 Postproduction - Starting after Day 4, I had most of the film edited and compiled along with sound effects. I was able to show the students how to edit and how I make a lot of decisions for a film. They loved seeing the fire edit and all of it coming together, even chose some of their own sounds and clips to add into the final film!

It was a great experience to create a film and to teach it to a younger generation.
