Over the course of a few hours I learned how to create this texture in Blender. The texture, animation and render are my creation. One of the most fascinating textures is the wavy Musgrave texture found in Blender. The topographic type of texture that pulls the waves, created with nodes in Blender. I wanted to animate this and push the design for a motion design project. It sort of looks like an eye doesn't it?
Challenges: The nodes sometimes would only react when plugged in the wrong channel. Two colors was also a challenge, the peach needed to be extra vibrant to challenge the darker blue. The noise texture needed certain tweaks in order to not completely lose the waves.

Phone Commercial: Work in Progress
This is a work-in-progress project with my good friend, Elijah. I proposed we make a half 3D and half 2D short animated commercial about phones. I also wanted to represent the evolution of phones throughout the decades. The phones are being flipped and it transitions into the next decade with more recognizable phones. We also took inspiration from the beloved French artist, Dedouze, to create a very soft neon color for each of the phones.

Challenge: Our modeling and rendering is going great, we are now working on animating a smoother toss of the phone. As well as incorporating reactive bubbles into the final scene.
